Rasen Area Environment Group and Community Garden asked us to be involved in a community planting activity within Market Rasen. The children enjoyed choosing the flowers they would like to grow, planting the seeds and watching them come to life. It was then time to plant them out in the planters. The children thoroughly enjoyed getting their hands in the mud and digging holes for their precious flowers.

Our beautiful flowers in the Market Rasen market place. The children did a wonderful job at growing and planting. This activity opened up conversations about our pollinators, why they are important and what we can do to protect them.
We were awarded the gold award for the best artwork out of all the planters! The children were given a super certificate and a wonderful national trust book full of activities that we can do at Pegasus.

A lady from the Rasen Area Community garden came to visit and presented the children with a certificate. Our children made a wonderful card to say thankyou for giving us the opportunity to take part in such a wonderful project.
We went to a local farm!
We was invited to go see the new lambs in the local farm which is only waking distance from Pegasus.
The children enjoyed seeing all the lambs, sheep and a cow!

Mother's Day Stay and Play
We’ve had a very special afternoon! We welcomed some wonderful mummies today to join us for our Mothers Day stay and play session.
The children enjoyed showing their mums where they play and explore, they did some painting with some beautiful flowers and had stories and songs. The mummies even had a cheeky slice of cake!

Little City Session
We used some of our fundraiser money to hire the company Little City! It was amazing. It involved lots of fun role play! We’ve had postmen and women, builders, hairdressers, mechanics, shopkeepers and so much more! The children absolutely loved our adventures with Little City - Lincolnshire. Writing a letter to the zoo!
The children wanted to explore different animals and loved the story Dear Zoo.
The children then wanted to write a letter to the zoo. So we worked together as a team to draw pictures and ask questions.
We then walked to our local post box and posted our letter.
A Yoga Session
We had such a lovely morning with Emily one of our Mums. She kindly came to Pegasus to do some Yoga and storytelling with the children. They all did such a fantastic job at listening, copying the poses and really getting involved.

We had a visit from Happy Hooves, we held and saw :

We had a such a great time and you could see the joy on the children’s faces
Rugby Tots Session
We really enjoyed our Rugby Tots sessions with Charlotte.
We learnt how to hold a rugby ball, kick it, how to catch one and we really loved the obstacle course.

Trips to Our Local Care Home
We enjoy hiring a minibus to get us to our local care home to make a visit.
We love to do singing, dancing, arts and crafts, music, exploring stories and more with elderly.

Police Visit
We had a lovely visit from Market Rasen Police, to talk about road safety and tell us all about their jobs.
We got to see their equipment and they also gave us some police hats to have.

Lovelle Market Rasen Link -
The lovely people at Lovelle asked us if we would like to take part in a Easter colouring competition!
The children thoroughly enjoyed decorating their eggs. Two ladies visited us this morning to announce the winner of the competition and give them a Hamper. They also gave all the children a cream egg which they was of course very excited about.

Village Easter Egg Hunt-
We worked with the wonderful people in Osgodby village to display our eggs for the egg hunt.
Families then came along to walk around the Wolds village to hunt for the eggs that was hiding.
Thank you to the villagers for supporting our event.
We had a visit from Farmer Jayne from Top Farm Enterprises - Lissington
She brought in her home grown veggies and we explored them!
We then washed, cut and peeled the veggies and made soup!
We all enjoyed it!

Visit from Ducklings
One of our families at Pegasus brought in their ducklings to show us!
They were so cute, funny and the children had loads of fun!

Walks around Osgodby
We go for walks around the village often, we say hello to people we meet on the way, play on the village hall green with parachutes, footballs or we just run! We do all of this in all weathers!
Our Local Post office
We often walk down to our local post office to buy stamps so we can send letters and pictures to places and people. We have sent letters and pictures everyone including to our homes, to different schools & nursery's , Yorkshire wildlife park , fire stations, Tesco's and so many more.
It is a great way for the children to learn about the world around us!
Lincolnshire Libraries
We love our monthly trip to the Library bus! We return our books, pick new ones for the Nursery and we also have a story on the bus! It's one of our favourite things to do!
Forest School Sessions
We love being outdoors all the time, so the best thing to do was have forest school sessions! We enjoyed learning about fire, making a campfire, sawing wood, nature painting, cooking our snack on the campfire and so much more!
Delivering & posting cards and pictures around the Village.
We enjoy making things for the village and then going for a walk to post them around on lampposts, fences, posts, to help brighten up someone's day. For example for Remembrance Day we made handprinted poppies, Christmas we did Christmas trees, summer we did sunshine and loads more!
