About Us
We are a small chairty run nursery, in a wonderful little village called Osgodby.
At Pegasus Childcare our highly qualified and passionate team ensure every child has the best experience possible in our inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Our aim and vision is to prepare all children with the essential skills they need, enabling them to progress onto the next stage of their wonderful learning journey, with confidence and success.
We achieve our vision through a range of daily activities, encouraging children to explore the world around us whilst following Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework. From music, stories, puddle jumping and den building, to engaging with community links, we ensure every child’s interest is catered for.
Children’s well-being is paramount in every aspect of our approach, we are a little family at Pegasus who take care of each other and the local community.
We do everything we can to give the children new, fun, exciting, adventures and experiences. Staff think outside the box and encourage the children to do so too. We do things with our local community and our families, to give the children a wide arrange of activities and challenges. We use Tapestry, a secure online journal your child's learning journey throughout their time at Pegasus Childcare Centre.
It can be accessed from a computer or laptop, or any Apple or Android device such as a tablet or smartphone.
A paper copy of your journal can be printed at the end of your child's nursery and pre-school journey for you to treasure.

Our SEN Co-ordinators are

and Emma Thornalley.
Responsible for monitoring the needs and progress of children with SEN in line with current legislation and practice.
Ensuring that liaison takes place with parents/carers and appropriate professionals.
